Embedding in an Intranet

Hello,

We have Premium, but not embedded. We are trying to figure out if we need to buy the extra Power BI Embedded licensing in order to embed reports into an internal, custom webpage. 

Are the javascript APIs accessible able to use to embed visuals in a Premium workspace on a custom intranet site, without purchasing Embedded?

You certainly can embed your Power BI reports with your Premium subscription.

Thank you so much for your fast reply! 

We can access the URL or the iFrame URL for embedding, but browsers seem to be phasing out iFrames for embedding so it doesn't work in a consistent way.

Do you know how to get started embedding in an intranet site without purchasing Power BI Embedded?

When I read about this scenario, it just blends into buy Power BI Embedded. I guess I don't get it. We have javascript developers, do we just register on Azure, get a token and then start trying to use the API?

You will have to create the application and then deploy it into your Web App
