Hello Everyone! Thanks for reading
**EDIT Note: the ":" is being added by the CMS in use on this website, im not using that in my code, its the actual colon***
In a typical SSRS report; when consumed via Web; using the Action for URL with a value of: "javascript:void(window.open('https://URL','_self');" it would open in the same window.
This doesnt seem to work with an iFrame Embedded Paginated report. I've seen the articles throughout this forum, as well as GIAC
*Edit*
I've Tried all of the following expressions:
="javascript:void(window.open('" + Fields!ReportWebURLUpdateFavorite.Value + "','_self'));"
="javascript:void(window.open('" + Fields!ReportWebURLUpdateFavorite.Value + "','blank'));"
="javascript:void(window.open('" + Fields!ReportWebURLUpdateFavorite.Value + "','_self'););"
="javascript:void(window.open('" + Fields!ReportWebURLUpdateFavorite.Value + "','blank'););"
Curious if someone else has come across this and solved it!
Thanks in advance
Dan
Thank you for your reply, but that is not the solution I'm after - I want the URL Action to redirect the same window and tab in the browser to the destination. See below, this is what I'm trying to do. Neither of these Links work in Paginated Reports, both work in SSRS Report Server.
Hi @BIDanny
If you are using RDL paginated report, tplease refer to the following link:
