Hi,
Is it possible to embed a Power BI App that is published from a workspace(with a Premium capacity) in Dynamics without the need for a license? The sigle sign on should show only the data relevant to the user.
I read about adding a Power BI dashboard in Dynamics which is an inbuilt functionality but this needs a license.
Secure embedding is another option , but then this is authenticated for a master account, so there are no user level restrictions and this needs an embedded license I think.
Hope you experts out there can enlighten on a possible solution.
Hi, @PBIfanatic ;
The simplest way that one can go about embedding a Power BI artefact in Dynamics 365 is through a Power BI Dashboard feature.
Although we have successfully demonstrated embedding of Power BI into Dynamics 365 using a Power BI free license, you should still consider upgrading your license to Power BI Pro. This is because there are several benefits to using a Power BI Pro that makes the integration of Power BI and Dynamics 365 so effective and seamless.

Thanks. The problem is I have only limited Powerr BI pro licenses but have Premium. So there is nothing in between a free license and pro that can be used to embed.
Having premium doesnt actually help with the embedding using the published apps.
Hi,
Is there a solution to this or does it have to be licensed.
