Editing the Dataflow results in empty Datamodel

Hi all,

I have a dataflow that is still adjust almost everyday to finetine. The dataflow is linked to 1 datamodel in the same workspace (and from there to 5 reports and the App for end users).

Every time when I am done with editing the Dataflow and save it, the dataflow will be refreshed. From that moment on my datamodel has tables with empty rows (so empty tables). All end users also see NO data anymore.

What do you suggest how to prevent this from happinging?

I can't reproduce your issue. Would you please refer to the similar post:  https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/Dataflows-No-entity-after-refresh/idi-p/848917/highlight/tru...

Hi @FilipFireFlyBI ,

Would you please try to manually refresh dataflows in power bi service after editing the Dataflow and save it?

Hi,

a manual refresh triggers the problem that all tables are empty.

Once that manual (or scheduled) refresh is done, only then I see that the tables are filled with data.

In my case that means between 15 min and 45 min no data at all for end users.

Regards,

Filip
