Hi All,

I am using SAP Business Warehouse Application Server to connect to SAP BEx querty using "import query" but the Edit Variable option is greyed out. Can someone please let me know how to enable it.

Hi @Anonymous ,

You need to change to Direct Query. For import mode, it is not supported to edit variables.

Hi,

When you say "Live Connection", are you referring to Direct Query?

But I have more than one query to be used in the report which is not possible with Direct query. Please suggest.

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous ,

Yeah, it is only supported to connect with Direct Query. (Sorry for my mistake. I will re-edit the answer.) After researched, there is not a workaround to edit variables with import mode.  You could submit your requirement into Ideas and vote it up to get the feature fixed quickly.
