Dynamically filter data in report and send out automatically via email.

Is there a solution to dynamically change the filter based on who the report subscription is being sent to?

For example, I have a sales report that shows sales for each sales rep.

Our goal is to send this report out weekly, but instead of creating hundreds of individual reports and subscriptions where each report is filtered for the user, I want to do this dynamically to save time and make it easy to manage.

I don't believe this is possible in PBI, but was thinking maybe this could be done thru power automate? I could add the email address of the receipient into the dataset and have power automate send the report(s) out, filtered and to each user?

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Yes, BI Helper https://bihelper.tech is a tool that we built exactly for this purpose. It works with  Power BI Pro, PPU and Premium licenses. It is easy to use - our users are typically up and running in 30 minutes. 

You can automate the selection of filter / slicer values and email recipients at run-time using API integration, documented at https://docs.bihelper.tech/api/intro.

Tradeoffs: BI Helper produces PDF / PPTX output and your users will therefore see a flat file of their report. However, we support multi-page PDFs unlike the Power BI Pro email subscription which is one page at a time. And you can email your reports to both internal and external users.

@vincenardo  - Do you have paginated report or SSRS report setup, in that case this request can be achived via data driven subscription.
