Duplicate a report from one workspace to another

Hi,

I am trying to make a copy of an existing report in one workspace to another. But somehow it is not showing the destination workspace in the search list (screen shot below).

 

There are 6 workspaces available for me as shown in image below:

Also there is not an option avalable to downlaod the pbix for the report.

Can anyone help me out with this problem.

Hi @Anonymous ,

As stated in this article, to download the report from Power BI service, the report must have originated from Power BI Desktop.

Similarly, as described in this article:

“The workspace you can save to depends on where you're copying from. When copying from a workspace, you can save the report to the current workspace or a different one in the Power BI service. You only see workspaces that are new experience workspaces, in which you're a member. When copying from an app, you can save the report to your My workspace.”

Hi @Anonymous my assumption would be that you don't have the appropriate permission to save a copy of that report to the other workspaces and that the author of the report disabled the ability to download the pbix file. What permissions do you have across these workspaces and reports?
