Dropdown slicer with search enabled not displayed properly in App

I've come across a problem concerning the display of dropdown slicers for which the search option is enabled by default.  When the report is viewed via a workspace within the Power BI service, the slicer looks/works fine:

Slicer 2.PNGSlicer 1.PNG

But in the app  it is displayed as:

Slicer 3.PNG

The slicer does not open up as a dropdown and, as a result of the size of the slicer, it's virtually impossible to scroll and select values.

I've tried this using both the old and new versions of the app navigation builder but it results in the same outcome.

It looks like the only option currently is to not default the search option.

I think I've resolved this myself...

For all of the slicers that are not being displayed properly, I had originally defined these using the "Text Filter" custom visual.  I subsequently changed these to be standard filters instead.  It appears that changing the visual type from Text Filter to Standard Slicer produces a different outcome to deleting the Text Filter and inserting a Standard Slicer in its place.
