Hi,
We are encountering the same slicer issue where it is a droplist in desktop but upon publishing, it becomes a list.
Tried the format section from service, turned slicer header to on and changed to drop down but upon changing to Reading view, the slicer changes back to list.
We do not have any bookmark in our report, so not sure what is causing this.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I just deleted the published report and republished it and this seems to have resolved the issue.

I suspect that this was caused by momentary Service insanity caused by some update that Microsoft did...

Unfortunately, I didn't reproduce your issue in my test.
Please try to update desktop to the latest version and republish the report.
