Drop-down Slicers rendering as a list on service

Hello,

I have a power bi desktop report with default slicer using drop-down version. When I publish the report it seems to revert to a list with check boxes making report look messy.

It was working fine until the update yesterday...I am not sure if it has anything to do with the new hierarchy option in slicer but the timing seems more than a coincidence.

Has anyone else had similar issues when publishing?

Thanks

Hi @M82, I have seen this issue before, but it had to do with bookmarks in the report. Are you using those?

Have a look at this issue: Slicer Rendering as Scroll-able List instead of a Drop Down (For Some Users, not All).

I have bookmarks, and it was working fine with those. It's bizarre as every slicer across all the pages are scrollable lists. I will try deleting the existing bookmarks and create new ones. I'll post back with an update if this resolves it.

Replacing the slicers with new slicers did the trick! Thanks.
