Drillthrough from some visuals stopped working on PBI Service

I have a few PBI Reports published that are widely used by the org. Suddenly in last couple of days, drillthrough seems to have stopped working on the service. On the same reports it worked just fine up until a few days ago. No other change made to those report.

Here are the steps I have tried so far:

1. It works on PBI Desktop just fine

2. On the Service, it is working for some visuals - I havent been able to find a pattern as yet; but seems like it is more if a problem with drillthrough from matrix visuals.

Any update / help her?

Please try republish the report from Power BI Desktop to Power BI Service and see if the drillthrough works.

No, didnt help, It is also not a problem with a particular report. I have many reports published and all have this issue. 

I have narrowed it down to drillthrough from matrix visual is a problem. IT works from charts and tables. 

I have also internally reached the PowerBi team in microsoft (I am in Linkedin) and they know about the issue. I am expecting the fix soon.

Can you please try to share the sample PBIX with the test data to know the issue visuals with drill through.

create any drillthrough from a matrix visual and publish to service. You will see that it isnt working right now.
