Downloading PBIX from service decreases file size

Hi,

I have a PBIX file which is 9.5MB. I published the file to the service and dowloaded a copy of the file again. Now the file size decreased to 4.5MB. What caused the decrease in file size ?

@Capstone,

When publish a pbix file to Power BI services, Power BI will compress your data inorder to save storage in the services. Obviously, this will not effect your pbix file running. So in your scenario, you can open the download pbix file without anyissue.
