Downgrading a Power BI dashboard

I have a Power BI dashboard that was created in a newer version than the one I have. When I try to open it it gives me some error messages that some of the queries may not work properly since it was created with an upgraded version but it opens anyway. The problem is that I can't upload it to my older version Power BI report server. Is there any way to downgrade this dashboard to my version instead of creating everything from scratch? Because right now upgrading is not an easy option for me.

Thanks in advance,

Hi there, just for some clarification.

Your Power BI Dashboard is from the Power BI Service?
And you want to now deploy this to Power BI Report Server?

The dashboard is sent to me by another company who works with a newer version. I can view it and publish it but it can't be posted on the server.

Can you open the pbix file in an older version of PBI desktop, then save it/publish it from there?

Yes, this can be done. However I receive a warning from Power BI desktop that some of the features may be incompatible.
