Hello All,
I am new into this Power Bi - Finops topics. Can anyone please advise?
In our organisation have only one power bi pro license. By using that, i have deployed the power bi report to Finance operations D365 workspace. I can see the report when i logged into Finops D365 workspace. Is it other users(Finance operations D365 licensed user) can view the report without PBI license ?
Thanks
Vinoth

Hi @Vinothsusai
Everyone that views a Report in Power BI needs a licence of some sort. In your scenario, they need a Pro Licence if you only have a Pro licence. It can be a Free licence if your organisation has a "Premium Capacity" licence. But to view a report shared with them by any method (over Teams, within Power BI, or sharing a link) they need a licence. It depends on the number of viewers you want to have, below about 400 users it's cheaper to buy them each a Pro licence, over 400 users it's cheaper to get a Premium Capacity licence. "Premium" licences also provide more facilities, bigger Datasets, faster refresh, Paginated Reports etc.

Alternatively, you can create / publsh an app that does not require a Pro license to view if the workspace is backed by a Premium capacity.

To create or update an app, you need a Power BI Pro or Premium Per User (PPU) license. For app consumers, there are two options.
