I added a new slicer to my PowerBI desktop document. I then went into PowerBI online and refreshed the data. Is this enough for the changes to show up in PowerBI? Do I need to re-publish from the desktop document?
I'm using a group workspace so this would mean I need to delete the report from PowerBI online and again retrieve the report from "Get Data"... right?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you are using Groups OneDrive to store the Desktop file the slicer (or any changes ) will show up after about an hour..If not you need to upload it "Get Data" again and it will prompt you to replace the file (as long as it has the same name )..no need to delete it..
P.S sometimes after upload needs to refresh the browser - or wait some time since new graphs sometimes shows errors..
