So, I followed the articles to get PowerBI configured to use our own Gen2 Lake account, as oppossed to the PowerBi provided one. My hope was that this configuration would not need the PowerBI capacity needs from Premium.
I got as far as creating a new workspace that utilizes our Gen2 storage, however it does not seem to be using it. For example, I enabled Incremental refresh on a Dataflow and it errored out saying I needed Premium for that capacity need. I would have figured that it would have used our own Gen2 for all that.
