Do I need Power BI Pro User license to create custom visuals?

Hi Everyone,

Good day.

I would like to ask if I need to have a Pro User license to create a custom visual?

I was trying to clone the snazzyTable by Ted Pattison from GitHub. Did not encounter any error upon running pbiviz start. The issue is that in Power BI Service, the developer custom visual only shows the title but not the table body even I have already added columns.

I already have the latest version of the Power BI Desktop.

As suggsted by @v-eachen-msft , please try to follow the document.

Initially you can try to check the same with the "Pro-Trial" from Power BI Service.

Path:- Power BI Service >> Settings >> Manage Group Storage >> Upgrade to Pro Trial.

Based on the document, you need a Pro license.

As far as I know it should not make a difference for the Custom Visual because it is running in "My Workspace"?

Can you see other Custom Visuals?
