Display only a week of streaming data in powerBI service?

I am streaming data from a powerbi API to PowerBI dataset, How do I display only week of data in powerbi dashboard.

I dont want to use powerBI desktop since it doesnot support real time streaming data. (correct me if I am wrong)

@rbhala You would need to add the data element in the data set in order to filter the visual by, there is nothing in the Service that would allow you to build the data element... For example, if in the data you have an additional bit column to determine current week, then you could use that as a filter in the visual.

I don't have any specific examples, sorry. I haven't set up an end to end process using this yet.

@rbhala What are you using for streaming the data? From my understanding you should be able to leverage Azure Event Hubs and Azure Stream Analytics to manage any partition of data you want streamed into Power BI..

@Seth_C_Bauer I am using Eventhub and Power BI REST API to push data to powerbi, I have my data, but I just want dashboard to display a week of data instead of all the data I have pushed to dataset.

Thanks!
