I have a report that displays a list of products in a table. There is a drill through page to look at the specifications of a product, including a picture. I have all of the images saved as jpg's in a SharePoint location that has limited access. The images show for me in the Power BI Service, but not for other users. I tested this both with users who have access to the SP location and users who don't. I am using Simple Image visual to display.
My questions are: any thoughts on why the images wouldn't be showing for users with access? And is there a way to display the images to users who don't have access to the SP location? Viewing the images one-by-one is not an issue, but do not want to give access to the full image library.
Thanks!

Hi @ksoukup ,
According to this link: Add images, videos, and more to your dashboard - Power BI | Microsoft Docs it appears that you can't have any credentials required for the image file. I based that on this sentence: "
Based on that I am not sure it will work for you to have the images without full permissions. But, that doesn't explain why you can see them....other than maybe you are an admin or owner in both?

I was able to make this work using the approach outlined by Chris Webb in his blog post.

Thanks collinq. I will need to find a different way to store these images so they can be shared externally.
