I was exploring comment feature in PBI service - it is available for report/dashboard and app and a user can mention any one in the organization. Below are my queries - @Greg_Deckler and Power BI users.
1. When a user starts typing a name after '@' (mention functionality) - can we limit the suggestions to only workspace members and app members, so that user shouldn't be able to view all user id's in that tenant in the suggestions.
2. If we can't achieve the above, as a workaround can we disable comments at Power BI service tenant/workspace/app level and not only at report/dashboard level, so that when a workspace contributor creates a new report using existing dataset - comment feature should be disabled by default for that new report/dashboard.
Hi @Sajjad
For point 1 you can vote for the idea on https://ideas.powerbi.com
For point 2, you would have to go into each report and manually disable the comments as far as I know there is no way to disable it tenant wide.
