Disabled Dataset scheduled refresh

Hi all,

from the documentation, if a report is inactive for two months (no access, no visits), the scheduled refresh it is paused automatically (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/refresh-scheduled-refresh#scheduled-refresh). In the documentatation they say that, in order to restart the dataset scheduled refresh, you have only to visit any dashboard or report built on top of it. I have some dataset on which the refresh is paused/disabled with this message:

Due to inactivity, your scheduled refresh has been disabled. We're starting it again now. Please come back later or manually refresh

If i ask for the configuration of the dataset through Power BI API like:

GET https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/datasets/{datasetId}

or

GET https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/datasets/{datasetId}/refreshSchedule

i can see that the refresh seems to be enable (neither DISABLED nor PAUSED)

or

"isRefreshable": true

1) I've visited the report and waited about one hour: the scheduled refreshes doesn't restart automatically (i misunderstand?)

2) There is a Power BI API that can return the datasets with paused/disabled refresh?

Your Problem:

Through the API, the values returned by the two parameters "enabled" and "isRefreshable" are both "True", but the refresh plan for this dataset is not actually started?

I'm not sure if these two parameters can explain the current status of the refresh plan.

Try to use the API to check the refresh history of the refresh schedule.

For my first point, i think that visiting the report will restart the scheduler. This means that it will refresh at the next scheduled refresh time.

Login into power bi and check the schedule.
