Using DirectQuery feature with SQL Server, will it still store data in the Microsoft Cloud ?

@ankitpatira If it's Azure SQL Server then definitely its Microsoft Cloud, else if its your on-prem server then your on-prem SQL server. In both the cases, DirectQuery won't load your data to Power BI Data Model and is not available as well. Hope this helps!
