Hi all,
I cant seem to find any up-to date questions on this topic.
I have a report which i want to publish to the web.
Currently I am getting "this content is not available".
I believe I am following all the appropriate measures and limitations,
but i am wondering if DirectQuery is counted as a "Live Connection" and i cant use it.
Please let me know if directquery is supported.
Thank you,
Aiden

Ok, so here is the answer to the question and also the reason it was failing:
Can you use DirectQuery in Publish to web - YES it is working.
Why was i seeing the "content not available message" -
- I am an office 365 user,
- I created the workspace for my content in PowerBI (THIS WAS THE PROBLEM)
- After i created a workspace in Office 365 and uploaded my report there, I can publish to web and it worked fine!
Super strange!
More information:
I tried by creating a new report using just a static data set.
Still getting:
"Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 (Unauthorized)"
I am on the ProTrial is that is of importance.
The Tenancy setting seem to be correct, as i can create the embed code.
