Direct query not working with Publish to web

I have prepared a report which brings in data from database table through direct query. I have also embedded a powerapps application on the report which is used to add or update records in the table. So in a nutshell you can write a new record from the power bi report using the powerapps and immediately see that record and its related calculation in the same report.

Issue being faced: Everything is running fine in the Power BI report but not in the published to web (PTW) version. In the PTW version, I am able to create a record from the powerapps and it gets created in the database table, but it doesn't reflect immediately int PTW one. However, it does reflect automatically after one hour.

How can I make it to reflect immediately.

Hi there

One of the limitations of PTW is it cannot use DirectQuery sources.

Also it can take up for an hour for imported datasets to show the updated data.

here are the PTW limitations https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-publish-to-web#limitations
