Deduplication based on two column

Hi,

Im very very very new to Power Bi,

Just wondering whether Power Bi have this kind of capabilities,

Imagine i got set of data with 3 column as below:
image.png

Column 1 (Email address) have to be connected with column 2. What i wanted is to dedup the duplicate data of column 1 based on column 3 without having column 1 leaves column 2. I know this can be done using Excel but when i got large record of data need to do deduplication, excel always break and cause my computer hang.

Really appreciate someone can help me regarding this. Cat Very Happy

Hi @Mashoh95,

I am not very clear about your requirement. What do you mean "Column 1 is connected with column 2"? And you said "dedup the duplicate data of column 1 based on column 3", what is the rule? Please provide some sample data and show us your desired output.

Hi Yuliana,

Thanks for the reply,

What i wanted to know whether PowerBI have this kind of capabilities,

For example:

As u can see in situation A, column 1 got same email (a@a) as column 3.
After dedup, it will becomes as situation B .
As i mention before, this can be done using excel but if the record very large. Excel will break.
Just wondering whether PowerBI can do this kind of deduplication.
