Dataset not updating after Dataflow has been updated

Good day,

I have set up a dataflow in the Service and created a report in Power BI desktop from this dataflow.  However, when the dataflow is updated, these changes do not reflect immediately in the Power BI report or the dataset (even after manual refresh of the report & dataset).  It appears to take several hours before the update refreshes in the Desktop report and dataset.

Would be most grateful for assistance, as I cannot wait this long for updates when I am developing and working on the reports.  I have a Pro Licence.

Hi, I have received help on this from your support team.  Here is the solution:

Problem Scope

Edit entity in power BI service (apply filter ) - Connected to same dataflow from power BI DESKTOP  

Dataflow not showing latest data(as per changes done in service) after click refresh in Power BI desktop.

Root cause

========

Not refreshed dataflow after the changes made.

Resolution

Need to refresh the dataflow in Power BI service after done the changes to entities.
