Dataset not refreshing

Something went wrong
It looks like scheduled refresh failed because the on-premises gateway restarted while refresh was happening. Double-check that the data gateway is continuously running for the next scheduled refresh.

I've confirmed the gateway is up and running.

In going to Power BI Service, Settings, and testing the gateway connection, the test is successfull.

Thank you. I opened an incident and they asked me to uninstall and reinstall the gateway, even though we were running the latest version of the gateway.

 

This resolved the issue.

 

I asked the support person how we prevent this from happneing in the future, or what caused this in the first place. Their response was that we're sending too much data through the gateway. Hmm... didn't know there was a limitation, and there's probably 15 tables in the model, only a few of them have over 50K rows. Not a lot of data, IMO....
