Hi Guys,
So i had setup a enterprise gateway with my dataset from mySQL DB. Gateway works fine and dataset refreshes as schduled. However i recently created another dataset...mySQL DB Connection and tried adding to the existing gateway but i keep getting these error messages(Image Below).
The first dataset works just fine through the gateway but ths one keeps generating the error message as soon as i try to add it to the gateway. I have unchecked the credential option in the desktop file setting but the same error message still persists.
Anyway i ca fix this?

Hi @Anonymous ,
Seems like this error happened when you configure the gateway. Please try to change the encryption into 'Not encrypted' in power bi service, not in power bi desktop.

Its an entirely different DB for a different product line.
However both DB run on mySQL.
is the first (working) connection using encryption or not?
The first dataset works without encryption checked. I checked both PBIX files.
Encryption is unchecked.
remove the second dataset from the workspace and add it back in.
Tried this...Same Error message
From the error it appears that in the data source settings the encryption is still encrypted.
Can you have a look in the data source settings and ensure that the encryption is turned off?
If you go into the Data Source Settings, then click on Edit Permissions, make sure that the Encrypt connections is not enabled
I'd try this
