Dataset Error: Not Enough Memory to Complete Operation

Recently, some of my reports have failed to refresh at their scheduled time and I receive the following message error.

"Failure Details: There's not enough memory to complete this operation.  Please try again later when there may more memory available.”

Does anyone know the root cause of this issue?  Do I have a bottle neck of too many reports attempting to refresh at the same time?

Usually manually refreshing resolves the issue.  This new issue only recently started to occur within the last month.

Thanks

@IAM  - If you have a premium capacity, you can install the power bi premium capacity metrics app and review the CPU usage. You will get an idea on what datasets are taking too long to refresh. ANd, you can look at optimising those.

Using incremental refresh can be one option. And, changing the refresh times of the datasets to balance out the capacity usage is another option.

Thanks for the replies. For now I am moving around the refresh start times.

Yes you may have resource contention between refreshes scheduled at the same time. Rather than refreshing manually, an easy optimization would be to stagger the refresh times if possible.
