Just created a new datamart. This is pulling from an odata source that basically is retrieving sales order records. When it was created, it pulled all the information up to that date (september 23rd). I tried to refresh it today this morning on september 26th, but it is not showing anything fresher eventhough I can see the data is populated on the datamart (on the service or via sql).
When opening the report and sorting descendent, the newest are from friday.
Now, I think I understand that datamarts ultimately create a dataset that is accessed via directquery, hence, this dataset has no refreshing properties. Dataset is set to OFF on caching queries by default.
Why is the data not updated ? What am I missing ?
I created another report using the datamart SQL endpoint as source, and this one is good to go; so everything points to the dataset as the culprit to this malfunction.
Thank you.
PS - I am using Power BI on a PPU plan.
Hello @v-binbinyu-msft
I can confirm there are no errors thrown when refreshing the datamart.
When inspected any of those instances, we got it is processing everything it has.
I don't think the issue is with the datamart or it's refresh schedule. I think it is with the dataset associated.
Thank you.
Hi @xembledev ,
Could you please confirm something? Is there any error message for reference?
