[Dataflows] Whats the speed of ingesting from azure blob to dataflows?

Hey,

Just curious what's the theoretical speed of ingesting data from Azure Blob(hot) to dataflows in powerbi(so data lake?).

I have 9gb csv file which is taking a long time to import 🙂

There is chart on this page listing theoretical 105MB/s but it has to be far from that...

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/copy-activity-performance

Maybe if the csv file would be in data lake already it would be faster?

Hi @atomek1000,

I'm afraid that the speed may be affected by the size of data.

The document you shared list the reference performance which test with files for file-based stores are multiple files with 10GB in size.

Best Regards,

Cherry

What would be the minimum upload speed needed to update dataflows?
