Dataflow connecting to PWA

Hi all,

I managed to connect in PBI Destktop to the MS Project Online pwa (using the OData connection like in the template here). Nice. But now I need to do the same in a dataflow, but for some reason it doesn't work, my credentials not being recognised by the dataflow.

 

I am using:

- odata connection

- url sth like "https://mycompany.com/sites/pwa/_api/ProjectData/[en-us]", 

- organizational account as authentification kind

- no datagateway (as pwa is on the cloud, right?)

 

As any of you managed to connect to pwa in a dataflow, or do you have any idea why is worked in desktop and not in dataflow?

Hi, @BenCardineau 

 

Does the gateway clearly show that there is no need to configure the gateway? Do the credentials you use correspond to the credentials of the data source?

You can try to change other credential and authentication method.

If it doesn’t solve your problem, please feel free to ask me.

I haven't worked with PWA, but a general remark:

Have you tried copying the M-query (so from the advanced editor in PBI Desktop) into a blank query in the dataflow and see if that helps? Just to make sure you have the exact same code and connectors in Desktop and online?
