Hi,
We have a dataflow pulling several years worth of dimension data. The dataflow ingests data from a view.
Considering building another dataflow to use this as source but filtered to just last year's worth of data such that only one read from actual database and second dataflow just filter of first one dynamically to only show the last year based on sold_date of the dimension.
Also a couple of other dataflows which would be based on first dataflow again filtering on given attributes.
Have read about uisng linked entities and requiring premium to do this though with option in powerapps to avoid using premium.
Would rather have the 2 dataflows concerned in the current power bi workspace.
Whilst we have premium, at moment workspace concerned non-premium.
Any thoughts on to how above best achieved/considerations e.g can you have several dataflows each reading base dataflow.
Thanks
