Data source error causing data refresh to fail

Hi,

Can anybody help me understand this error message? It occurs when I manually refresh a dataset that has been able to refresh in the past.

The key part is this: "Microsoft SQL: Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding"

You want to isolate whether it's a data gateway issue or an issue with the SQL server itself. Are you able to connect to the latter and query it directly (e.g. from SSMS)?

Thank you for the assistance! I have forwarded the issue and your suggestion to my IT support team as I do not have necessary access to connect to the SQL server and query it.
