Data labels do not appear when published online

Good morning,

I have produced the following report in BI Desktop and displays labels as expected.

DesktopDesktop

However, when published to the online BI Service the data labels to the right do not appear.

OnlineOnline

Given the original report displays the data could this be a bug when moving from the desktop to the online service.

Kind regards

Glyn

Can you please on and off the data labels and try to recreate the report in the powerbi service from scratch. I just tested in my powerbi service and it is perfectly working fine. Also, Can you please check and confirm that Data labels are on in the Service and Colour of the data labels is adjusted accordingly to make sure that it is visible.

Thanks & Regards,
Bhavesh

Hi Bhavesh,

Unfortunately these actions did not fix the view online. I constructed the report again online and the following happened:

Redo OnlineRedo Online

As you can see some have appeared but some have disappeared.

Kind regards

@PonySldr, I can't reproduce your issue on my side. Could you please provide me the data center and cluster name? You can get the information via going to Power BI Service, please go to the Question Mark -> About Power BI -> post here the info “Your data is stored in xxxx”.

Hi Vicky,

Thank you for having a look at my problem. Data is stored 'North Europe (Ireland)'.

Kind regards

Glyn
