I followed the instructions to connect out github repo in Power BI https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-connect-to-github
All worked well, but then the contributions data seemed to disapear, although the pull requests data is still there. The only way I could get it back was to delete the app and reimport again. The problem then seemed to go away for a week but then came back. It seems to happen when the data is automatically refreshed.
So I tried this with the Power BI desktop. again all went well, but when I refresh the data, the contributions data disapears but the pull request data still there. The only way to get refresh the data is to use the "Getdata" and connect to the GitHub connector and import the contributions table, this adds a new contributions table but does update the old one. So I can just delete the new contributions table.
Also if I publish the Desktop Power BI to the service I get the same issue with refreshing the data and and the data dispears on refresh.
The github we are using has 2fa, but I've set up the authorisation OK as otherwise I wouldn't get any data at all.
Anyone got any ideas?
