I have a dataset with a table from SQL Server and Oracle. How would the On-Prem Data Gateway update both tables from two different databases in a single dataset?
Solved! Go to Solution.
@blackshep01 The connection type available for this scenario would be "Import" only, but this is supported and should work. You would be using the Power BI Desktop to connect to both data sources. You would create both the data sources on the same gateway in the Service and with the same exact connection strings as your Desktop file. Then when you published the Desktop, the OPD Gateway would be available for you to schedule a refresh on your mixed dataset.
