Hi everyone,
I have a report with a slicer, that slices 200 different employees. The report shows the KPI's for each employee, such as for example "Cancellation Rate".
How would I make data alerts for each employee on a KPI?
I can of course make 200 different data alerts (one for each employee), but then I would need to add more data alerts when new employees come, so I don't think it's the smartest solution.

HI @EmilRask1,
If you table existed the user mapping table that map user name with current users, you can consider to setting RLS on the dataset and the calculation will dynamic filter based on current username filter.
Then the data alert will trigger based on correspond users. (e.g. user a received the notice for over the limit, user b may not receive the notice because his records not exceed to the limit..)
Current it seem not contain data alert for group features, so I think you still need to add multiple data alerts for different users or try to use power bi Automate to trace the dataset stause and send notice message to users.

Hi @v-shex-msft,
I came across this topic and I have some concerns about the proposed solution.
"try to use power bi Automate to trace the dataset stause and send notice message to users"
I don't think that this should solve the problem.
With Power Automate, you can add multiple receipents to the e-mail alert, adjust the title and the body of the email etc. However, a Power Automate flow is based on a single alert, which means that this single alert is hosted in a KPI, a gauge or a Card visual. So, there are no dimensions (eg. employees) available in this visual. So no dimensions (eg. employees) available in the alert.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I have not found any way to create dynamic data alerts.
@EmilRask1 Did you manage to avoid creating 200 data alerts?

Lampros
