Data Sources Don't Support Refresh

I have a PBI Desktop file that refreshes without issues. Once published I get an error that states my data sources are not supported. I have checked all privacy levels and data source credentials in both desktop and the gateway on service. I also checked my sources against the list of supported ones and everything matched. Not sure where to go from here.

Data Sources Used;

  • Excel.Workbook (in the same query this is followed by File.Contents; "Excel.Workbook(File.Contents"
  • Sql.Databases
  • Table.FromRows (in the same query this is followed by Json.Document; "Table.FromRows(Json.Document"
    • This source is a table made in Power Query with a single record that is not set to refresh

An unknown error has occurred. Please try again. If the issue continues, please contact support.

Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details.

@Anonymous Is the data on-premises and if so do you have a data gateway? Otherwise:

You could check the Issues forum here:

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues

And if it is not there, then you could post it.

If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".

@ me in replies or I'll lose your thread!!!

@Greg_Deckler The data and gateway are both on-premises. I have opened a support ticket as well.
