Data Refresh Error

Hello!

I'm experiencing an issue with the data refresh on my power BI. I thought I might need a gateway to refresh, but Power BI gave me a message saying that I didn't need one.

Below is the current hierarchy within my power BI. I believe the issue is stemming from the web connection rather than the SharePoint connecting, becuase I currently have different dashboards that connect to SharePoints that update without isssue.

Let me know if anyone has run into this before, and thanks for your time!

Sounds like a SharePoint connection related issue to me. Try the following:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/64149815/importing-data-from-sharepoint-to-power-bi-and-getting-...

When you are trying to import from SharePoint lists, whether to PowerBI or Excel, it will ask you to input the SharePoint site URL.

Please note that it's not the SharePoint list URL the one you need to provide but the SharePoint site URL.

After you provide the site URL, then you will see the files/lists from the site that you can use as data source tables in PowerBI/Excel and import them.

The 404 error you described happens when PowerBI/Excel doesn't find the site resources (lists, documents, etc.).
