Data Colors shift at random when publishing

I do not understand how this can STILL be an issue years and YEARS later.

It still happens when you publiush a bar chart (or other chart types) the data colors that are specified and saved on the desktop will change once it is published to the service.

Why is this still an issue?

Hi  @OneWithQuestion ,

You can manually enter the hexadecimal value of the color or delete the last character of the hexadecimal and re-type again.

manually going and re-editing every single object to reset the colors by hand is not really a valid solution.

Especially for every single time a PBI file is published.

Why has this issue not yet been addressed by the dev team?

Hi @OneWithQuestion

I have had the same challenge

What I have done is to use a custom theme and that keeps the same values when publishing to the PBI Service
