Dashboard tiles data values do not change when report data changes

 Hello community,

I have a created a dashboard which has some KPIs which are changing daily.

My issue is when data changes in reports (let's say a KPI changes from 90% to 85%), this change appears in report but not in the dashboard tile (i.e. in report I have the updated value 85% and in dashboard tile I have the value before the change 90%).

Can you please let me know why this is happening? I assume that dashboard tiles SHOULD change automatically when we have any changes in the data from the reports that have the visual connected to the tile.

This is very important to be solved for my project as I have created some alerts when any KPI goes out of the accepted limits to notify some people who need to be informed about the change.

Any help??

I'm a little confused about your sceanrio, do you change the report data by republishing to Power BI Service or want to show the changes when refresh the dataset?

If you change the report data in power bi desktop and republish it to Power BI Service, the change of report will not reflect to the dashboard tile. You could refer to this similar thread.

If you have added the data source to Data Gateway, by my tests, if you refresh the dataset, it will show the changes to your related report and dashboard.

Best  Regards,

Cherry
