Dashbard containing stream/push data does not display in app

So to my knowledge, real-time data will not update in the Power BI service on a report. That report must be pinned to a dashboard for the auto-updating to occur. That is fine, but when that dashboard is placed in an app nothing is displayed. The dashboard shows as a page in the app, but nothing is displayed. Does anyone know why this might occur?

Hi , @TallPolishAdam

As far as I know, for stream/push datasets, their data refresh is real-time, but your report page may be showing cached data, and you may want to expose the latest front-end data through your page refresh. If you want to make your report data with stream/push data updated in real time, I think you can try Automatic Page Refresh from Power BI: Automatic page refresh works at the report page level and allows you to set refresh intervals for visuals that are only active when the page is used:

Thank you for your time and sharing, and thank you for your support and understanding of PowerBI!

@v-yueyunzh-msft ,

The solution you have listed only works for direct query to my knowledge. It does not update pushed/streamed datasets.
