DATAMART: unable to use Power Query Online parameter in a datamart

Hi folks,

I wanted to use power query online parameter in a Datamart to help users choose their language in an international report from the POWER BI Datamart.

I entered a list of languages in a parameter list, and a parameter choice in Power query Online. But then, neither list or value is  to be seen from the datamart user : no table, no value is reachable, the PQ parameter seeems to be seen only from PQ on line but not from Datamart users or reports from Datamart.

Hi @DidiermaFR

I do not think it currently is possible to pass parameters to the datamarts at this point in time. It is currently in preview so it is not 100% completed.

Considering this predecament, I suggest to create a  table of languages in the Datamart. Report Designers will be able to use a slicer from this to make the choice, and DAX SELECTEDVALUE will do the job to take this choixe into consideration.

thx for your help
