Is there a way to customise the home page. The main use case is that the home page is too cluttered for end users, It would be great to have the ability to turn off some of the categories (recent, workspaces, etc). Our business would benefit hugely from being able to display only favourites, and maybe apps for example. Having too much on one page can be a large deterant for end users.
I am experiencing the the same issue. Users are complaining when they open the portal they see all thse various sections lile favorites, recent , workspaces, shared etc. This is confusing them. We need the ability to turn off these sections that get displayed by default. The user needs to see just workspaces/apps/ reprts shared to them EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING.
What method did you use for sharing the content with users? if you used Apps, the new app navigation would take the entire page, and the user won't see anything else while in the app.

In the main view, however, you cannot do much customization, unfortunately. the only option is to minimize the panel in the left-hand side and make it smaller:
