Custom theme on powerbi.com doesn’t work

I am using custom theme which is perfectly working on pbi desktop. When I publish report to powerbi.com and try to open it there, I see that custom theme is not present there and I see default colors. Please advise how can I solve it.

Hi @Tatmel ,

The custom theme file imported into the report will be stored into the pbix file, as the pbix file dowloaded has the defined theme, we think it might because some special format in your theme file caused it cannot show in the Power BI Service, could you please try to use another sample theme file to test with a copy of this report? Such as this one in the document: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-report-themes#report-theme-files-you-can-use-right...

Hi @Tatmel ,

Based on my test, it works fine on my side after publish report to the service. Have you tried to reproduce this issue in other report using other theme file? Could you please ry to download the pbix file from Service and then check the theme setting of the download file in the Power BI Desktop?

Hi,

When I downloaded pbix from pbi.com and opened it on desktop, the colors were folow custom theme. How can I check the theme settings in desktop? I tried to publish this report once again to pbi.com and faced with the same issue. On PBI.com the colors are default. Do you know if I should store custom theme in a special folder on ,y PC (f.e. Programm file where PBI is installed)?? At this moment it looks ike a bug...🤔

Hi @Tatmel ,

How about the result after you follow the suggestions mentioned in my original post?Could you please provide more details about it If it doesn't meet your requirement?
