Creating a history Data

Hello all,

I have a database which has the current stock amount in the SQL database, but i am also interested in the history data. Any ideas how to keep the old data which is retrived by the power bi and put the SQL data on top of that ? Data source will be same all the time. If i just refresh power bi will take only the data in the sql and delete which is already retrived.

Thanks

Power BI has no memory. If you want to keep historical data you need to do that upstream, in your SQL server for example.

Power BI can then be configured with incremental refresh so you don't have to reload all the data all the time.
