I'm trying to set up a software search of our company software using Cortana and I've encountered a number of possible limitations with the search.
#1 - Is there any way to do a wild card search with Cortana? For example, if we have software called Widgets 1.0 and Widgets 2.0 and I ask Cortana to search software for Widgets, it doesn't list the two versions of Widgets software we currently have installed, it just does a Bing search for Widgets. But, if I ask Cortana to search for Widgets 1.0 or Widgets 2.0 it brings up my Power BI results because the names match exactly.
#2 - Using the same software search as above, if I search for Dropbox, Cortana does not find it in my Power BI search because it will treat it as two words, "Drop" "Box". Yet when the resulting Bing search comes up all of the links are for Dropbox. Other similar words that cause problems are "toolbox", "busylight", "facetime", etc.
Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
I have no idea about the internal working about Cortana. You may post your question on
