@v-xicai It's happening for me, both Edge and Chrome.
When using keyboard to copy, pasting the visual on the same report page it was copied from results in two visuals being pasted. Using the mouse to copy (then keyboard to paste) works fine.
Also pasting the visual on a different report page is also ok.
So the only use case I can replicate this with is: Copy with CTRL-C then paste onto the same report page.
Hi @IVALANGE46639 ,
Copying and pasting a visualization requires edit permissions to the report. In Power BI service, this means opening the report in Editing View. Visualizations on dashboards cannot be copied and pasted.
By my test, the copy and paste a report visualization feature works well. Does this issue occur for every kind of visuals or for the other browsers? Please check if you pasted twice at the same time, or it may have a slow network speed, try to refresh the page.
Best Regards,
Amy

Hi Amy, Thanks for the follow up.. To confirm, I am the owner of this report in power bi.. and can edit.
To hopefully help explain a bit more... I am just taking a graph visual and using keyboard shortcuts (which I've done in the past with no issues) and clicking on cntrl C and cntrl V for copy paste identical visual. However; when I click on cntrl V it actually duplicates the visual twice at the same time. Its really weird and as mentioned prior to last week, this worked just fine using the shortcut keys.
I also tried in other reports I own and have the same instance.
Although; and just out of curiousity and will note, I did try the right click on the visual - selected copy visual and then cntrl V to paste and did not duplicate. but seems now more clicks than I prefer... LOL the above in using cntrl C and cntrl V was pretty smooth but now if I use them I'm left with deleting a visual. Something strange definitely and thanks again. Really appreciate all your help and feedback. 🙂 Have a Safe & Superb rest of the week!

Personally, I have seen that the COPY AND PASTE functionality in Power BI Desktop is flaky at best. I have two reports open, both based on the same data model and I want to replicate the objects from one model to the other.
I hightlight a line (graphic element, not a chart), do a Ctrl+C, move to the target report, and Ctrl+V. It pastes the line just fine.
I now highlight a Card visual, Ctrl+C, go to the target, Ctrl+V and what do I get? NOT a copy of the CARD, but a copy of the LINE.
Next: I have a DAX Calculated Column in one table I want to replicate in another as it is a three-part join key. So:
Define the column in one table. Hit Enter
Edit the column, highlight the ENTIRE text, Ctrl+C
Go to the second table, New Column, Ctrl+V in the Column Definition, and get NOTHING. A simple Ctrl+V in Notepad confirms there is nothing on the clipboard.
Resolution: highlight PART of the column definition (anything after the = sighg), Ctrl+C, new column, Type in "My New Column =", then Ctrl+V and now I get something.
Like I said, flaky, not consistent, can't rely on it.
