Hello all,
In a report page, I have a few line charts showing information by week (x axis - 52 weeks).
When trying to copy the line chart visual as image, the result is limited by only showing the first segment of data that fits the visual width (approx. 27 weeks), which I understand as it will only render the visible part.
However, when in focus mode, the line chart shows all the 52 weeks but when copying the visual as image, the output is also limited to 27 weeks.
If a visual is in focus mode, shouldn't the copy of the visual be based on what is currently visible? Is this a bug?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi @acarrico ,
Whether your problem still persist?
Best Regards
Rena
Hi @acarrico ,
I'm sorry I can't reproduce your problem, the data for whole 52 weeks can be displayed on visual image (please see below screen shot). Please try to adjust the size of visual image after copy the visual image into clipboard, so that all weeks of data can be presented. If this method is not working, please provide some sample data in your model(exclude sensitive data), later we will make troubleshooting base on your data. Thank you.
Copy a visual as an image to your clipboard

Hi Rena
Thanks for your reply.
I tried to adjust the size of the visual image, but it didn't work for me. I have made a video showing the problem, please see the link below, hope this helps explaining the issue.
Copy visual as image in focus mode

Hi @acarrico ,
Which tool you are pasting the visual image into? WordPad or other tool? Could you please try to paste the visual image into Microsoft Word and resizing it? And check whether it works... If it still not working, you can raise one support ticket if you have a pro license.
Best Regards
Rena
